Perhaps you are a bit of a computer geek yourself, and you wish for PCR to zero in on what is causing your computer problem(s) then stop so that you can in turn do the repair work yourself. In most cases a "diagnostic only" will save you about $75.00 .

Keep in mind that a "diagnostic only" can't always be 100% definitive. Repairing computers is often a process of elimination, and part of that process involves replacing parts, then turning on the computer to see if the problem has in fact been remedied. Furthermore some computer issues (such as intermittent problems) may not be definitively identified until after action is taken to do the repair work. If you wish for PCR to additionally do the repair work, then PCR will assume all of the risk of time and money spent while working towards getting your computer back up and running (example: buying a motherboard, when the problem turns out to be something else).
